I decided to take up hiking the summer of 2006, and for my first expedition, I hiked to the summit of Mt. Diablo, and covered about 3300 vertical feet over 14.6 miles. I brought a camera along to take pictures and ended up making this sort of documentary instead.

Production Notes:

This was filmed using a Sony DSC-P200 digital camera, not a camcorder, so the quality is poor. Moreover, I exported to a wmv file, and YouTube doesn't convert wmv files so well. So it looks like poo. No matter, I figure it still warrants a nod in the Video Project section.
