The links you'll find above are very special to 606 Flicks in that without the people behind them, a lot of what we've been able to produce wouldn't be possible. The community at RoosterTeeth Productions are the largest support base I've ever had for any of my creative works. I have a special place in my heart for the friends I've made there, and would tell anybody that if they're looking for the best example of an e-community, they need look no further than the RoosterTeeth family of sites. Figure 5 is the design portfolio of Jacob, the man behind the 606 Flicks logo. What Jacob lacks in good looks has been negated by his talent and capabilities as an artist and web designer. Moreover, he is far better trained than I could ever hope to become. Without YouTube, I wouldn't have been able to initially broadcast my early works to such a large audience. Also, the feedback from the YouTube community on a few of my works has taught me a few lessons in making short films. HostMonster is an amazing web hosting service, and the great surprise is that it's cheap! Like, ridiculous cheap! Blogger makes it easy to produce an easily updated news page. That's it. You need Adobe Flash Player to view the embedded videos. If you don't already have it, I'd imagine you probably live in a cave and don't have access to the internet -- in which case, you're probably not even reading this. |
